Yes. Our slab warehouse, showroom, and factory are located in Blackheath, Cape Town. Viewings can be arranged by appointment to allow you to experience the scale, texture, and variation of each slab.

Yes, natural and engineered stone can chip or crack if subjected to heavy impact, structural movement, or incorrect installation. However, professionally fabricated and installed stone surfaces are extremely durable and suitable for long-term use.

Yes. Natural granite is porous and should be sealed to protect against staining and moisture absorption. Sealing frequency depends on usage and the specific granite type, typically every 1–3 years.

Quartz and porcelain do not require sealing.

With proper care, stone countertops can last decades—often a lifetime. Granite, quartz, and porcelain are among the most durable surface materials available for kitchens and bathrooms.

Yes. Many chips, cracks, and scratches can be repaired by professional stone technicians using specialised resins and polishing techniques. Severe damage may require partial replacement, depending on the slab and installation.

Porcelain / Sintered Stone:

Natural stone and porcelain are highly heat resistant. Quartz is heat resistant but contains resin binders, so prolonged direct heat exposure is not recommended.

While granite and porcelain can withstand high temperatures, we recommend using trivets or heat pads to prevent thermal shock or surface damage—especially on quartz surfaces.

Yes. We offer removal and disposal of existing countertops as part of our installation service, subject to site conditions and project scope.

• Large or custom projects may require additional time

We provide warranties on fabrication and installation workmanship. Manufacturer warranties apply to engineered stone and porcelain products. Warranty terms vary by material and supplier—please contact us for full details. Our Teramo Quartz ™ carries a 25-year limited warranty.

Yes. Granite and porcelain are excellent for outdoor applications and withstand UV exposure, temperature changes, and coastal conditions. Quartz is generally recommended for indoor use only due to UV sensitivity.
