A New Chapter: Introducing Teramo – Quartz & Natural Stone Wholesalers

As Sangengalo continues to evolve, we are excited to introduce the next chapter in our stone journey. Teramo Quartz is now Teramo Quartz & Natural Stone Wholesalers, a dedicated division focused on sourcing and supplying exceptional slabs of marble, granite, quartzite, and engineered stone to architects, designers, developers, and fabrication partners.

While Sangengalo remains focused on the fabrication and installation of high-end stone projects, Teramo now serves as the gateway to our carefully curated slab collections. This structure allows us to strengthen both sides of the business: world-class installations through Sangengalo, and a growing portfolio of remarkable materials through Teramo.

With global sourcing relationships and a constantly evolving warehouse inventory, Teramo allows design professionals to explore new stone arrivals and rare materials as they enter the South African market.

New Stone Arrivals for 2026

We are excited to announce several exceptional materials that have arrived in our warehouse, along with plenty more.

Titanium Gold Premier Granite, sourced from Brazil, will arrive in a limited batch of 14 slabs. With bold golden veining across a dramatic dark background, it offers striking potential for statement islands, feature cladding, and architectural focal points.

Another highly anticipated arrival is Rosa Tuscany, a marble known for its warm rosy tones and soft movement. With 16 slabs arriving, it brings a refined warmth to interiors seeking a softer, more organic palette.

A long-standing favourite, Vanilla Ice Marble from Turkey, continues to attract strong demand. With 42 slabs arriving, its creamy tones and gentle patterning make it ideal for sophisticated kitchens, bathrooms, and timeless residential interiors.

Finally, we are welcoming more of Calacatta Monet Oro, one of our most versatile marbles. Its elegant veining adapts effortlessly across design styles and can also be backlit, creating dramatic features for bars, hospitality counters, and statement interiors. For clients who admire the look of Calacatta Viola but need a more accessible option, Monet Oro offers a compelling alternative.

Design Trends Shaping 2026

This year we are seeing a clear shift in how stone is specified.

Designers are moving toward warmer palettes, replacing the cool greys that dominated the past decade with earthy tones, creams, and subtle rosé hues. At the same time, textured finishes such as honed, matte, and antique surfaces are becoming the preferred choice in luxury residential projects.

More than ever, designers are pushing the creative boundaries of stone.

Stone Beyond the Countertop

Stone is increasingly being treated as an architectural feature rather than a purely functional surface. In 2026, we are seeing growing demand for feature cladding, curved stone islands, bespoke fascia detailing, and sculptural installations.

From fireplaces and furniture pieces to outdoor kitchens and hospitality environments, natural stone is becoming an expressive design element that defines the character of a space.

At Teramo Quartz & Natural Stone Wholesalers, we look forward to seeing how these new materials inspire the next generation of interiors.
